I am a writer and art historian in training based in Detroit, Michigan. Writing is my first and truest love. I write speculative fiction about messy midwesterners and bizarre encounters.



My art historical research centers gladiators in Ancient Rome. I am also interested in representations of food in Roman art and literature, as well as representations of the hero Herakles across cultures. My research informs my writing, but it also informs my artistic pursuits. I mainly work digitally, but also love traditional media. I started making music during the pandemic and fell in love with it.



HTML is my latest venture. This website is my first full creation. The windows are all draggable, and I think that’s pretty cool. It was originally based off a static tumblr theme by Ed Adams on github.
